Zuvor verantwortete er als leitender Digital Media- und Marketing-Manager innovative Entertainment-Optionen wie IPTV und VoD sowie andere Mehrwertdienste bei internationalen Telekommunikations-Unternehmen. Als Vice President Production produzierte er bei den US-Studios Talk TV; New York, und Columbia TriStar, Hollywood, diverse Fernseh-Formate für Deutschland und andere europäische Länder. Als Berliner Studioleiter von SAT.1, damals noch in der geteilten Stadt, später nach dem Fall der Mauer dann für ProSieben, berichtete Torsten Peters auch als TV-Moderator und Live-Reporter über das politische Geschehen. Pressesprecher und Amtsleiter der brandenburgischen Landeshauptstadt Potsdam sowie TV-Redakteur mit besonderem Aufgabenbereich beim RIAS Berlin waren zuvor weitere wichtige berufliche Stationen für Torsten. Seine Medienkarriere startete der diplomierte Kommunikations- und Wirtschaftswissenschaftler beim Sender Freies Berlin.

Torsten Peters is currently heading the Berliner Public Affairs Unit of a global operating Telco-enterprise, targeting the innovative market segments of electric mobility (BEV) and artificial intelligence (AI). Prior to that time he has served as a high level Digital Media and Marketing Manager, specializing in the development of cutting-edge entertainment options such as IPTV, VoD and other value added services for major international telecommunications companies. Earlier he worked as Vice President Production for the US studios Talk TV, New York, and Columbia TriStar, Hollywood, on TV Shows for Germany and other European countries. Previously, Torsten Peters functioned as Studio Chief and on-air-reporter for SAT.1 Television in Berlin when that city was divided, and then, with the fall of the wall became Studio Chief and TV host for ProSieben Television, chronicling the political events of the time. Earlier Torsten served as Press Spokesman and Chief Information Officer for the Potsdam City Government, and also worked as a TV editor with special duties for RIAS Berlin. He holds an university diploma in communication science and economics, and began his media career with Radio Free Berlin.
